Presently the organization is presenting an application that it trusts will turn into the default path in explorers to sort out outing data in front of their ventures and get around town once they have arrived.

Google Trips will contend with offerings like TripIt, the travel-arranging application from cost of doing business organization Concur. In any case, Trips is substantially less designed for business go than TripIt, which offers a $49-a-year premium administration that tracks your reward focuses and alarms you when a superior seat ends up plainly accessible on your flight. What Trips needs in genius travel highlights, it compensates for with valuable city manages that use an extensive variety of Google administrations (and publication ability).

Google Trips expects you to sign in with your Google account. (You can switch forward and backward between an individual and work Google account on the off chance that you have them; for best outcomes begin with the record where your flight and lodging data is conveyed.) Once you've marked in, Google will demonstrate to you a rundown of your up and coming and beforehand finished excursions.

Take advantage of a future outing and you'll locate a bright framework of choices to investigate. It will likewise make modifications in light of time of day and climate — in the event that it begins down-pouring, for instance, the application will suggest indoor activities. I took a get-away in Italy this late spring, and I wish Trips had been around when I did. My flight and inn data was scattered crosswise over messages, Evernote archives, and Trello cards; my rundown of sights to see sprawled from Google Docs to Gogobot and back. The silly information rates that AT&T charges for global travel — $120 for 800MB — implied I invested a large portion of my energy with my cell association close off. Outings was intended to address these issues and that's only the tip of the iceberg.

In my initial testing of Google Trips, I saw a modest bunch of bizarre irregularities — the application offered me a tab of LGBT-accommodating spots in Lisbon, Portugal, for instance, yet not New York City. What's more, I wish the application pulled in data from both my corporate and individual Google accounts — I regularly have significant travel archives in the two spots. Meanwhile, you can forward those reports to your own record. What's more, if Google doesn't distinguish your outing consequently from your email, you can simply make another outing physically inside the application.

In the event that you have protection worries about Google following your each progression around the globe, Trips is likely not the application for you. Be that as it may, in case you're OK with the exchange offs, I presume you'll observe Trips to be a hugely helpful travel partner. In a time where print travel guides are as yet offering for $15 a pop, Trips is a decent, free place to begin. Following a rough year making buyer items for Google and its parent organization, Trips feels like an arrival to shape. In time it might turn out to be the most helpful customer device the organization has presented since Google Photos.

To travel is to find freedom! The freedom of unbidden roads that will take you somewhere new, the unfamiliar faces that may become dear, the lap of nature you will always feel at home in, travel is all this and more. But travelling solo, how does that feel? "Travelling solo is what has given me confidence, made me stronger and brave, as well as opened the doors to friends all across the world" says Avni a Media professional, who travels solo across the world.

It is indeed true, travelling solo can prove to be the most liberating act, it is important to have this experience at least once in your life. Why you ask? Simply because you are completely in charge of your own life, and that makes you more intuitive, confident, flexible, courageous and happy! Do what you want, how and when you want to, you need not compromise because of someone else. But travelling solo does have its own drawbacks or so some women feel. So, how can a woman prepare for solo travel?

Take a look at the ten tips for budding solo women travellers.

1. If you have never travelled solo, start slow. You can club some solo travel with a business trip, where most of the trip will be planned by your company and you could just add the weekend activities to the schedule by yourself. This way you only have to worry about planning and preparing yourself for two days.

Join a travel group, though this does not qualify as solo travel, it is a great step to prepare yourself. In the company of absolute strangers who are fellow travellers you can ease into being a solo traveller gradually.

2. Do your homework. Travel safety truly depends on the place you are travelling to. Which part of the world or the same country are you headed for. Read up as much as you can about the place, its political state, its people and culture. If you are well-informed, you will know what to avoid and can plan your travel accordingly. This also includes checking on the safest travel options in the particular destination and booking accommodation in recommended hotels or hostels.

3. Keep your documents close to your heart. There are few things extremely important while travelling; your phone, money and any documents you are required to carry and identify yourself with. Keep these close to yourself. Keep some money and photo-copies of documents in multiple places. You can even note down a list of phone numbers to be called in case of emergencies. This is especially useful if you lose your phone.

4. Keep friends and family informed. People can only help you, if they are informed. Regularly update friends and family on where you are headed, where you will be staying, the flight on which you will be travelling etc and some local number they can reach you on. This helps provide your near and dear peace of mind as well as additional security for you.

5. Make friends. You might be wary of chatting up the wrong people, but spend some time observing; if they are a gang of both men and women or a family, you can definitely make friends. This especially helps if they are travelling to the same destination, as you can always keep in touch and have someone to contact in case of any emergency or trouble.

6. Dress practically. It is not as much about moral policing as much as it is about common sense. Are you travelling to a remote corner of the earth, where people are amazed at your very existence! Why complicate it further by dressing inappropriately? Also, it makes more sense in terms of comfort to dress like the locals. Sometimes local dress habits are decided by more than culture, it is based on the climate, terrain and functionality. Do some research and pack accordingly.

7. Personal safety. Do not go about revealing all personal details to people you just met, would you do this even at your home? No! So don't do this on your travels. Talk about generic topics, avoid information regarding your address, where you are staying or mention misleading details if you feel giving an answer is a must. Better safe than sorry!

8. Trust your intuition. Women are renowned for their intuition! Travelling solo is the best time to put it to use. If you can't see something obviously wrong, but have an uncomfortable feeling, get yourself out of the situation immediately. Don't worry about being paranoid, feeling something isn't right is better paid heed to.

9. Health is wealth. Your health is among the most important things to take care of during a solo trip. Eat healthy, make sure you carry all your medicines and you can even take the time out to read up about the nearest hospital and drug store for emergencies.

10. Stay alert and assertive. You must always be alert and aware of your personal space, if you feel someone is intruding the personal space and trying to cause any kind of harm, be assertive and forget politeness. Firmly say 'No' or 'Go Away' ideally in the local tongue, if that does not help, go ahead and create a scene. Sometimes the best way to drive away potential harm is by drawing attention of the public to yourself.

This blog by Ankita is in continuation with her previous story Dachstein Ice Caves

Mammoth Caves

Theses caves are not as cool as ice caves but they are worth watching. They actually have 60 km of passageways. But generally, people like me take the one hour guided tour where they will cover 1 km of distance inside the cave. Theses caves are famous for the one of the oldest fossils being excavated from them.

5 Fingers lookout

From mammoth caves, we returned to ‘Seilbhan’ again. We had our lunch and then we proceeded towards 5 fingers. The trail towards 5 fingers was very narrow and uneven. You need to be completely cautious and should have complete control over your feet.

This is definitely one of the spectacular viewing platforms in the whole world. This is an extended platform built about 500 meters above the ground that bestows you with the breathtaking views of the world heritage region. One of the platforms is made entirely with glass and another has a Barque picture frame where you can have your picture with the beautiful town of ‘Hallstatt’ behind you.

Dachstein Ice Caves

I will never forget this trip of Dachstein Ice Caves. It was an invigorating and winning experience for me. there’s a wooden bench. While we were tracking towards 5 fingers there was a wooden bench. I saw it and could not resist to sit there for a while. Magnificent Alpes, clouds, clear sun all of them collaborated to frame the best sight ever.

Travel Tips for the adventure

1. Better to take your own food cause after this much walking and tracking you will feel your stomach grumbling inside

2. Do try the exclusive Hazelnut Ice-cream after everything is done. It will be like cherry to your icing

3. Keep yourself hydrated

And most importantly….enjoy nature’s awesomeness.

So you are getting married in this wedding season – Congratulations! Planning a memorable honeymoon is a very important part of your wedding planning. It’s a much-needed break after months of engaging and often tiring wedding schedule! Here are some handy tips for planning the ideal honeymoon.

Why we need an Ideal Honeymoon

tl9dekpndhm-wilson-sanchezTaking your honeymoon provides rejuvenation – It is often said that the wedding is for the guests, and the honeymoon is for the couple. Do you know why that is? It is because all of those crazy months of planning, primping, and preparation should account for something, right? I can’t tell you that it seems more often that not that the prep for the wedding is often so overwhelming that the actual event that may last 7 to 8 hours, can be somewhat of a letdown.  So after the wedding, is it any wonder that couples don’t want to head back to work like it is just another day? Couples need time to recover, rejuvenate, and rewind.

Your honeymoon sets the tone for your new life – A honeymoon provides your first memorable moments as a couple. It sets the stage on how a couple treats each other, and prepares the path to wedded bliss. Not to mention some great honeymoon memories that will help keep the spark alive while reminiscing. If you have an arranged marriage then it goes without saying that an ideal honeymoon will play a great role in understanding your partner

What is the “Ideal Honeymoon?”

Most people grow up with a preconceived notion of what an ideal honeymoon should involve. However, a bride’s idea of beachside paradise and a groom’s idea of a Adventurous Mountain resort might have some areas of conflict.

Paradise Comes in Many Forms – Different Types of Honeymoons
When it comes to honeymoon planning, most couples try to select the destination first, while travel agents often suggest a more productive way to begin. Unless your dream destination has already been set in stone, first decide what type of vacation you want. Then you can narrow down your list of destinations accordingly.

Resorts are very popular honeymoon destinations. They transport you into another world, for a wonderful escape from the daily grind of everyday life. They are often set in the most picturesque and beautiful places in the world, including pools, private beaches and golf courses. There are wonderful restaurants and relaxing spas for you both to experience.

ideal honeymoon

All-inclusive resorts streamline the enjoyment process by including everything. Your room, transfers, recreational facilities, meals and drinks are included in the one price. Without the worries of wondering how much everything little thing will cost, you are free to live the high life experiencing everything you want as often as you want it.

If an all-inclusive resort sounds tempting but too stationary, consider taking a cruise. Cruises are often floating resorts, which take you away to one exotic port after another. Whether you want a cultural cruise to the Caribbean region, or a cruise from Singapore to Disneyland in Hong Kong, a well-planned trip has it own advantages.

Some couples have also tried a very specialised “Retreat Honeymoon”. Which takes you to a different level of understanding and chemistry together. There are many such beautiful places in Himalayas and Africa. While choosing a retreat option, it is very important to consider the preference of your partner. Both may or may not like yoga of some therapy. An ideal honeymoon should always be a win-win.

What to avoid in an Ideal honeymoon

For most couples it’s the very first time you are staying together and you learn quite a lot about your partner’s style and preferences. It’s advisable to put across your best behaviour. Don’t be fake; just be good and courteous to each other. Silly jokes and things may not help much and nobody wants his/her partner to be a jerk.

Key is to express your love and affinity for each other at every possible moment. Do share your experience that can make an ideal honeymoon.

I personally prefer to switch off my phone while on vacation, however we don’t get such luxury quite often. Smartphones have become such an integral part of our lives that a day without them looks difficult. And why not, look at the amazing Apps and solutions around us. Some are really brilliant and awesome. Lot of times people ask me which Apps I prefer while on trip. So here it is – from the ocean of millions of them, 5 Travel Apps that really worked for me. There is no order or Ranking here, just 5 of my favorites.

1. GOOGLE MAPS

Who can even think of a trip without Google Maps? Its reach and detailing are simply mind blowing. We can arguably call Google Maps the best mobile navigation app around, and one you’ll likely use every day on the road.

While you’ll need an Internet connection to find new locations, you can save unlimited numbers of maps for later offline use. The GPS in your phone can still work without any network signal, and you can even get driving and public transit directions without being connected. I have used Google Maps Walking assist a lot on my trip to Hong Kong and it works like a breeze. I have some colleagues in Delhi who cannot move a meter without Google Maps Traffic Assistance. So Google Maps gets my “Best Buddy Travel App” tag.

google apps, Travel Apps

2. GOOGLE TRANSLATE

google translate, 5 must have appsIf you’re planning a trip to a place that don’t speak your language, you’ll find Google’s Free Translation app very useful. Simply type in the words you need to translate, pick a target language and bingo – you rock!

I found it very helpful during my trip to a small Indonesian Island called Bintan. It was so much fun to say phrases in local Indonesian and Malay Language to local shopkeepers there. Got some good bargain as well. You can even speak a phrase and have the resulting text translated. Most usefully, you can download a language pack ahead of time. This means you don’t even need to be connected to the Internet to translate – an important point for international travellers who may not have mobile data. And trust me that happen a lot of time. A must have Travel App indeed.

3. XE CURRENCY

xe currency, 5 must have appsThere are many currency conversion Apps in App Store but I find XE currency to be the best. The best part is its simplicity to select your native currency like Indian rupee, dollars, baht etc. Then select the one you want to use right now. The moment you enter the amount the result will come in all different currencies you chose. This gives a very good idea of the value for stuff you are looking. No matter where we are, we always understand the value of a product in reference to our native currency only. XE Currency is quick and easy, and could save you a lot of money when dealing with unfamiliar exchange rates. The app doesn’t require an Internet connection to convert between currencies, but does need one to download rates when you first select a currency.

4. TRIPIT

Tripit is one of the most popular travel apps out tripit, 5 must have appsthere, and for good reason. The service makes tracking even complex itineraries a breeze, without having to manually type in the details of every flight, hotel and car rental.
If the booking was made online, just forward the confirmation email and, in most cases, Tripit will automatically recognize it and update your itinerary. Once that’s done, start the app and let it download the latest updates. After that, you can access your itinerary without an Internet connection.

5. TRIPADVISOR

5-app-blogTripadvisor is another personal favorite who gets the status of my “best buddy app”. I simply love the sheer depth of information on tripadvisor. I am using it from last 5-6 years when App was not even around. We used to access the portal from website only.
It provides the best user-reviews for accommodation and attractions, and its forums also provide a wealth of information about destinations all over the world. The Travel App provides almost all the information available on the site, including access to the forums and syncing of bookmarked pages between the web and app versions.

Unfortunately it’s not able to be used offline, although the company does make dozens of free city guides available to download.

Do suggest some awesome apps you know that can help make a great trip.

1 – Reminisce over past vacations:

In your journal create two columns and label each one of them What Works and Not That Again. Under What Works list activities that come naturally, bring you happiness, and also ease into place. Under Not That Again list challenges. Write down energy exhausting activities that bring you down. What changes will you make to delegate, get rid of, or adjust the items in the Not That Again column and embrace more of what is in the What Works column?

2 – Select a theme that inspires you:

Precisely what is most important this vacation? Source your theme on that. If you wish to cut out traveling consider “Home for the Holidays”. If your financial budget is tight ponder “Simply Sensational”. Your theme keeps you focused. One that honors your spirituality might be “Faith and Family First”. Or select a preferred quote, for instance, Mahatma Gandhi’s “Be the Change You Wish to see in the World”. Be creative, have fun, and write it down. A planned theme goes a long way in making it a stress free vacation.

3 – Arrange your major 4 priorities:

Base all of them on the things you really want which links with your theme. Get crystal clear. Write them down. When you know your priorities you are able to respond conveniently to a demand and set restrictions. When somebody suggests you get engaged look at your priorities and see if it serves them. If it does, consider it. Otherwise, the answer is likely no.

4 – Set a budget:

Come up with a budget that seems good. There are numerous ways to have a wonderful vacation without accumulating stress to the budget. Show people they are cherished. Plan family fun and activities. Let an individual know what is unique about them in a card, letter, cassette, or video clip. Be inventive. Hide gifts, wrap up boxes with minimal hints inside and allow the children have a scavenger hunt. Never let a restricted budget steal your happiness. Ensure it is fun and begin a stress free vacation.

5 – Set restrictions:

Determine now what you would not tolerate. Write it down. Just remember your Not That Again list? Is there somebody who ropes you into things you don’t want to do? Have the conversation which is overdue. Be compassionate, and no is no. If someone keeps asking after you have said no they are trying to control you. Setting restrictions is all about educating other people concerning how they can treat you. Is there someone you have to educate?

6 – Make a start now:

Start today so that you are tying up your final bows ahead of when the pitter patter of hoofs on the rooftop. Keep your vacation journal. The earlier you complete your tasks, the earlier you are able to sit back, smile, prop your feet up, sip your favorite hot wine, and also enjoy the atmosphere you created this season!
